58 industrial maintenance programs with costs, results and funding that can make them free

38 schools offer these industrial maintenance programs, and Washington has approved every one for workforce funding. Each shows its price if you pay yourself and how past students did.

Industrial machinery mechanics, maintenance workers and millwrights install, maintain and repair factory equipment and other industrial machinery. Most have a year or more of training after high school, some a two-year degree in industrial maintenance, and most millwrights learn the trade in a three- or four-year apprenticeship.¹

In Washington, 8 of the 58 programs take students without a high school diploma, 35 ask for a diploma or equivalent and 15 ask for earlier courses first.

Yes, if you qualify. WIOA (public workforce funding) can pay for any program on this page, in full or in part, depending on local limits.²³⁴In program year 2024 it paid toward the training of at least 6 people at 2 of the 58 programs here.
